2006 Children’s Ministry Conference
January 17-19, 2006
Atlanta, Georgia
Holiday Inn North, Atlanta Airport

Growing Kingdom Disciples
Planting Seeds of Faith in the Next Generation

CULTIVATING Children’s workers, pastors and parents from across the nation to:

  • Dig up new and old friendships

  • Share tools with “old field-hands”

  • Sow seeds of fresh ideas and insights

  • Fertilize your calling to children’s ministry

  • Harvest a new vision for growing kingdom disciples

Keynote Speaker, Paul Tripp, will be preaching in our first evening's worship service and at our two other plenary sessions.  His teaching will be centered on making visible the invisible kingdom for children.

Dr. Tripp is Director of Changing Lives International, counselor and faculty member of the School of Biblical Counseling at CCEF and lecturer in Practical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. He is the author of Age of Opportunity: A Guide to Parenting Teens, War of Words: Getting to the Heart of Our Communication Struggles, Instruments In the Redeemer's Hands and numerous articles. Paul and his wife, Luella, have three sons and a daughter.

Dr. Allen Curry will be our preacher on Wednesday evening on Covenant theology and applied Christian education. His teaching on the Covenant at our annual conferences always empowers us with new insight and passion to tell the next generation of God’s great promise in Christ Jesus.

For years Mark Lowrey has been writing and teaching on discipleship. He brings all of this experience to Great Commission Publications and to us. Mark will lead a plenary session on discipleship and how our “Show Me Jesus” curriculum is designed to help us plant the seeds, fertilize them, and harvest a generation of kingdom disciples.
