Jackson, Mississippi. Allen has been a Regional Trainer/Consultant for twenty years. He received his Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary and his Masters and Doctorate in Education from Temple University. In the past Allen has served as Pastor of Immanuel Orthodox Presbyterian Church and Director of Educational Services at Great Commission Publications. He is the author of The God We Love and Serve as well as numerous articles and curriculum materials. Allen currently serves as Reaves Professor of Christian Education at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. God has called Allen to teach and gifted him to teach teachers. He has conducted training sessions throughout the USA and in many international settings. It is his belief that by serving as a Regional Trainer/Consultant he is helping to serve the Lord in one of the most important works of the church. In his words, "God makes himself known in His Word and world and Christian education is the church’s ministry of receiving, mastering, and appropriating God’s revelation." Allen is married to Marilyn and they have two grown children and five grandchildren.
