Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania. Susan has been interested in Christian Education for over twenty years. She served for 15 years as director of children’s ministry at a PCA church in the Philadelphia area. She has a particular interest in outreach ministries and in training teachers to teach in a variety of settings, including backyards, camp ministries and other out-of-the-classroom places. She teaches topics in Christian education at two seminaries: Westminster Seminary and Biblical Seminary. “What I like about doing teacher training with the PCA is the opportunity to encourage teachers to use all kinds of methods to present the message of the Bible and to do it with conviction and joy. I also like to explain the Bible plotline in a way that pulls it together for teachers who may be teaching the major stories of the Bible and not necessarily seeing the big picture. Our faith grows when we can see God’s plan of redemption from beginning to end.”
