CEP has assembled ten women who are part of a training program that:

  • Helps a women's ministry accomplish the objectives of Biblical Foundations for Womanhood.
  • Teaches women a Biblical perspective of their relationship with Christ, family, and church.
  • Challenges women to fulfill their helper design.
  • Helps women examine the implications of the covenant in their relationships.
  • Trains women to cultivate community by obeying the Titus mandate to nurture one another for Godıs glory.
  • Trains women to be channels of compassion by obeying the Micah mandate.
  • Equips women for leadership roles in the womenıs ministry of the church.

What will a trainer do for our church?
Trainers will help your local womenıs ministry leadership team:

  • Evaluate your existing ministry.
  • Understand the implications of the covenant in a womenıs ministry.
  • Consider their calling to serve in the womenıs ministry.
  • Build community on the leadership team.
  • Use a covenantal approach to develop a common vision, goals, and strategy.
  • Integrate the womenıs ministry with the total vision and ministry of the church.
  • Work through nuts-and-bolts issues such as developing a Titus 2 program, Bible studies, special events, and ministries of encouragement and compassion.
  • Determine a rotation plan to keep continuity and forward movement in the ministry.

Who should attend a training session? The women's ministry leadership team. You may also want to invite women who are interested in serving on the leadership team as well as male leaders who have oversight for womenıs ministry in your local church.

How do we schedule a trainer to come to our church? Get approval from your session, and then contact the WIC office: jpatete@pcanet.org or 678-825-1146.

Can churches or presbyteries partner with each other to have a trainer? Absolutely! We encourage this.

How long is a training event? When you schedule a trainer, she will work with you to determine the length and format of the event. You may want to have her speak to all the women and cast a vision for womenıs ministry, and then work with the leadership team.

What expenses will our local church need to cover?

  • Training Package
  • Materials
  • Travel
