Looking for a
Great Summer Camp?

According to Camp USA, 8,500 camps are conducted in the United States each summer. Christian Camping International includes over 1000 camps in its membership. That’s a lot of camps! With thousands of good camps, and hundreds of Christian camps to choose from, how do parents and youth workers find their way through the maze to select the best camps for their kids?

While almost any camp is likely to be fun and offer great activities and interaction, churches and families want to feel confident that they are sending their young people to camps that, without question, exalt Christ, and uphold the reformed faith. The following paragraphs describe several CE&P-endorsed camps that are run by the PCA at the denominational, presbytery, or local church level, or whose leadership includes PCA members. The list is not exhaustive, but it highlights the distinctives of each camp, and should help guide you through the maze of options.

It is our prayer that this brief tour will help you select the camps that Christ might use to help your children trust Him, love Him, obey Him, and be transformed by Him. If you know of a camp we should consider, contact Danny Mitchell at 678-825-1144  or dmitchell@pcanet.org. Include your camp's information, please email with the camp name, dates, 25-30 word description, contact names and numbers, and an email or website address, if applicable.

W
e can't wait for YOU to arrive! This summer we'll be about encouraging YOU to recognize The Bigger Story in life. YOU will be reminded that God has written a story just for YOU and YOU are the star of that story. We feel it will be a privilege to remind YOU that God has a grand purpose for YOUR life. God reminded people in the Bible all the time about their role in the Bigger Story. People such as Joseph and Esther were used mightily of God because they recognized their part in spite of their difficult circumstances. Come to Camp All-American this summer and find YOUR role in The Bigger Story.

Fully Alive is a ministry conference designed for Christian Senior High youth, and creates an environment which will:

  • connect students with students
  • teach students to see that they are truly Fully Alive  when they are in Christ Jesus , not chasing after the stuff of this world.
  • educate, motivate, and provide tools to enable students to stand firm in Christ Jesus
  • educate, motivate, and provide ministry and  leadership tools to enable youth to impact and influence their world for Christ.

The Fully Alive staff believes that a critical component in assisting Christian youth to resist the pressures of this world and to grow in their faith is to be anchored in a network of Christians – a network that seeks to inform their minds, to engage their hands, and to bind their hearts to the Gospel of Christ. We believe that today’s youth need strong Christian leadership – from adults as well as teens.

Contact:  Tom Luchenbill (tluchenbill@christcommunitycarmel.org) or Matt Luchenbill (matt@ecpca.org) for more information and be sure to check out the website (www.fullyaliveconf.org) for all the details about the conference.
