Effective Leadership

Finding the right balance for the leadership needed by a particular church at a particular time is not always easy. Our experience over the years is that effective leaders need the right attitude about their role but they also need training. This is consistent with Paul’s instruction in the book of Ephesians.

Prayerful Ministry

We believe we have included materials that will interest you and benefit your Christian life and ministry. Our main theme is prayer. Could there be a more vital and essential need in our lives than prayer? Our main theme is prayer. The relationship between prayer and renewal or revival hit the mark.

Connecting with People

We are committed to helping raise up a generation of adults and youth who are self-consciously intentional in understanding and applying biblical truth to the challenges of daily life. Christian education, at least from our perspective, is making disciples who think biblically. That effort requires the cooperation of the church, home, and school.

Theodicy: Understanding the Goodness of God in the Midst of Evil

Building a Healthy Church is our Aim

Some say that there is no biblical warrant for Sunday school; yet God has used this part of the church’s life to reach and disciple many children, youth, and adults. A Sunday school that is done well will contribute much to the church’s overall ministry, but as with other programs, it can be done poorly or ineffectively and distract from the church’s ministry.

A Preaching and Teaching Church

The rising generation of young people is showing a definite interest in a more conservative approach to life and a greater interest in spirituality; yet their interest in spirituality is not necessarily connected with Christianity. While this is a both good news and bad news, it is a great opportunity to set forth the Christian faith.

A Church’s Master Plan

Extensive studies show that the failure to focus on this area of ministry is contributing to the loss of the older teenagers and middle-aged boomers from the church. What is this crucial area of ministry? You guessed it: Christian education!
