DAVE MATTHEWS

Dave Matthews is on the ministerial staff at Briarwood Presbyterian Church where he oversees the family ministry program. He is a former member and chairman of the CEP Committee. He is married and is a father and grandfather. Dave’s doctrinal work was in the area of family ministries at Covenant Theological Seminary.

SEMINAR:

Saturday: Discipling at the Kitchen Table—focusing on the family setting for making kingdom disciples. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. God has provided some built-in times for parents to disciple their most important disciples--their children. What are the most effective ways to: teach our children God’s Word and wisdom on a daily basis, to communicate Scripture to them and to address their hearts as well as their behaviors? We will discuss how we can begin shaping our children’s worldview through scheduled family times.
