STRATEGIC WITH CHILDREN'S DISCIPLSHIP: Childcare or Discipleship?
The workshop will
focus on the church's ministry, and covenantal responsibility, to
children. In broad strokes the foundation will be laid for those who are
called to pastor children (birth - 6th grade), and for those called to
oversee others who serve in this nurture ministry. Topics covered will
be the Biblical foundation for ministry to children; discipleship with
children, philosophy and models of children's ministry; organization of
a children's ministry; recruiting and developing leadership; and working
in a Presbyterian system and programming.
