CEP is here to train your teachers.
A stronger faith. A
deeper understanding. A closer relationship with God. Your Christian
education workers give these gifts to your congregation every week. But
who gives to your teachers?
Over 10 years ago we
recruited people who understand Christian education. Who know how to
teach. Then we trained them to train others and to ensure that all our
churches have the opportunity to give their teachers the support and
encouragement they deserve; to give teachers a chance to improve their
skills and strengthen their God-given abilities, making them a more
effective and strategic member of your church's discipleship ministry
team.
Strategically located
across the country, regional trainers are able to come directly to you
and conduct training workshops right in your church. Each trainer is
able to help with issues faced by teachers everywhere--issues like
discipline, learning styles, lesson preparation, and how to use
curriculum. They can also present Great Commission Publications’ Sunday
school curriculum.
Like many churches, you
may want to make these workshops a regular annual event, possibly
offering as many as four hours of training at one time. It's an
invaluable way to ensure that
while your teachers change from year-to-year, the quality of your
program won't.
