A lot has been written in the last few years about
the lack of relevance of the Christian message in today's culture.
Unfortunately, Christian young people are buying into that notion. Now,
here is the bad news: that leads to a loss of imagination of how
God can use us which leads to a loss of expectation of all God
can do which leads to the stagnation of our faith. The result of a
stagnant faith is that the Christian message loses its relevance in
today's culture. But here is the good news: Ephesians 3:20 tells us that
God is able to do more than we ask or imagine. So, perhaps, the
Christian message is losing relevance because we have forgotten to
IMAGINE
BIG
and stopped asking God to do big things.
Join us at YXL this summer as we explore what it
means to IMAGINE BIG about the ways in which God can use us as we
demonstrate to the culture the relevance of the Christian message.
